The Muskies claimed a thrilling a five-set triumph over the Student Princes in the Seiberling Gymnasium, 3-2 (22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 17-15) to capture a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season championship.
Muskingum volleyball juniors Brooke Fatheree, Erin Dickson, and Maddie McGee were named American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Honorable Mention All-Americans. The outstanding play of Fatheree, Dickson, and McGee guided the 14th-ranked Muskingum volleyball team to a 27-4 overall record, their best campaign since 1999, and a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular-Season Championship for the first time since 1999. The trio also helped the Muskies clinch their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament and the teams first NCAA Tournament match triumph since 1999.

The 14th-ranked Muskingum volleyball team received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament on Monday. The Muskies team will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan Regional, to play the Wittenberg Tigers on Thursday, November 14. Start time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. The contest will feature live stats and video at fightingmuskies.com. The winner of the match will advance to the semifinals of the regional on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and face the winner of the Hope/Texas-Dallas match.
The Muskingum volleyball team was ranked 14th in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll that was released on Tuesday. Last week the Muskies were ranked 11th. The AVCA Division lll Top 25 Poll is selected by Division lll head coaches representing the eight NCAA regions.
The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum volleyball juniors Brooke Fatheree and Erin Dickson First Team All-OAC, while junior Maddie McGee received Second Team All-OAC accolades. Junior Brynn Guist was named Honorable Mention All-OAC.

The tournament ended with junior setter Erin Dickson and junior outside hitter Brooke Fatheree being named to the 2019 Mount Union Invitational All Tournament Team. Fatheree was also named 2019 Mount Union Invitational MVP.
Muskingum head volleyball coach Hallie Cruzen has announced the selection of captains for the 2019 season. Junior setter Erin Dickson, junior outside hitter Brynn Guist, junior outside hitter Brooke Fatheree, junior libero Jessica Cottle, and junior defensive specialist Kamryn Smith will direct the Muskies on their 2019 fall campaign.
