Volleyball spikes Wilmington in home opener

The Muskingum volleyball team spiked Wilmington in its home opener on Tuesday night in the Anne C. Steele Center, winning both matches 3-0. With the sweep, Muskingum improves to 4-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

• Muskingum claimed the opening match 25-14, 25-14, 25-15.
• Sophomore Emma Dunham led the Muskies with eight kills and three blocks.
• Senior Maddie McGee, the reigning OAC Player of the Week, added six kills.
• Freshman Hannah Gove, freshman Khloe Taylor, and freshman Raegan Flood all registered five spikes.
• Sophomore Emma Conrad directed the attack with 18 assists, while senior Erin Dickson recorded 11 assists.
• Sofia Thomas paced Wilmington with six kills.
• McKenzie Stringer registered seven assists.

• Muskingum recorded 41 kills, 35 assists, and 10 blocks. The Muskies hit .216.
