Six Muskingum softball student-athletes have earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors for their standout performances this season. Sophomore infielder Natalie Smith, freshman infielder Kasey Timko, junior outfielder Cara Taylor, and sophomore pitcher Bethany Rodman were all selected to the Second Team All-OAC. Freshmen Emily Travis (infielder) and Mattie Bailey (outfielder) received Honorable Mention recognition.

Softball Travels to Marietta

On Tuesday afternoon, the Muskies traveled to Marietta, dropping game one in a close 8-6 contest. Game two was ruled a no contest after being called in the top of the fifth due to darkness, with the Muskies leading 12-6.

Softball Celebrates Senior Day

The Muskingum softball team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon, splitting a doubleheader with Baldwin Wallace. The Muskies handed the Yellow Jackets their first Ohio Athletic Conference loss of the season with a 5-1 win in game one, before falling 3-1 in game two.

The Muskingum softball team delivered a dominant performance against John Carroll to kick off Ohio Athletic Conference play. The Muskies outscored the Blue Streaks 19-0 in 11 innings, securing back-to-back shutout victories. They claimed an 8-0 win in game one and followed up with an 11-0 victory in game two.
