The Muskingum softball team hosted Capital on Wednesday afternoon. The Muskies split with the Comets. Game one they won 8-0 and in game two they lost 5-4.

Game One

- Sophomore Tareyn Born pitched for six innings for the Muskies and totaled six strikeouts and only allowed one hit. Born also earned two hits in the batter's box, had two runs and two RBIs.
- Freshman Emily Travis earned two hits, one run and one RBI.
- Freshman Kasey Timko and freshman Mattie Bailey totaled a hit.
- Junior Susie Blocher totaled a hit and a run.

Game Two
- The Muskies finished with 29 at-bats, four runs, seven hits, and three RBIs.
- Sophomore Natalie Smith led the Muskies with two hits, with one being a double.

Next Up
The Muskies will next host Baldwin Wallace on Saturday, April 12 for Senior Day. The first pitch will start at 1:00 p.m., followed by game two.
