Softball honored with six All-OAC selections

Six Muskingum softball student-athletes have earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors for their standout performances this season. Sophomore infielder Natalie Smith, freshman infielder Kasey Timko, junior outfielder Cara Taylor, and sophomore pitcher Bethany Rodman were all selected to the Second Team All-OAC. Freshmen Emily Travis (infielder) and Mattie Bailey (outfielder) received Honorable Mention recognition.

Muskies Fall to Baldwin Wallace in OAC Tournament Opener

On day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament, the No. 4 Muskingum softball team suffered a 6-2 loss to No. 1 Baldwin Wallace. The Muskies will now face No. 3 Ohio Northern in an elimination game tomorrow, Friday, May 9. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Softball gears up for OAC Tournament Championship run

The Muskingum softball team is set to begin its quest for an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament title on Thursday, May 8. Entering as the No. 4 seed, the Muskies will take on top-seeded Baldwin Wallace at 3:00 p.m. Baldwin Wallace will serve as the host for the tournament.

The Muskingum softball team dismantled Wilmington as the Muskies earned the clean sweep on Tuesday afternoon. Muskingum outscored Wilmington 20-9 overall. In game one, the Muskies defeated the Quakers 11-7 in eight innings, and in game two, the Muskies teed off with a dominating 9-2 win.
