The Muskingum baseball team dropped a pair of games on Friday against the Ohio Northern Polar Bears. The Muskies slipped in game one by a score of 16-3 before bouncing back in game two where they battled the Polar Bears for 10 innings before falling 7-5.

Baseball sweeps Marietta for the first time since 2010

The Muskingum baseball team swept rival Marietta in the OAC doubleheader for the first time since the 2010 season. In game one, freshman Jake Valentine led the Muskies with a complete game on the mound, where the Muskies pulled out a 2-1 win. In game two, led by a dominant team performance at the plate in the fourth inning that tallied five runs, the Muskies finished the sweep with an 8-5 win.

Hess homers in second-straight game as Baseball drops first game of the season

The Muskingum baseball team dropped their first game of the season against Grove City by a score of 19-5. Sophomore Benny Hess led the Muskie offense with a home run in the top of the seventh inning. Hess has now hit four home runs on the season and has in back-to-back games.
