Teke honored with OAC Player of the Year to highlight Baseball All-OAC accolades

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named senior outfielder Tobie Teke the 2025 OAC Player of the Year, recognizing his outstanding season. Teke, along with senior first baseman Weston Melick and junior second baseman Sam Palmieri, earned First Team All-OAC honors. On the mound, graduate student Erik Cover and freshman Jake Valentine were both selected to the Second Team All-OAC for their impressive performances.

Baseball celebrates Senior Day in split against #23 Mount Union 

The Muskingum baseball team split in an OAC doubleheader on Senior Day against #23 Mount Union on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies tied the school record for wins in a season with 28 wins after an 8-7 win in game one, where senior Weston Melick had a solo homerun and senior Tobie Teke had a two-run homerun. In game two, the Muskies fell 11-5 after the game was shortened to six innings due to weather.

Baseball earns wins against Otterbein

The Muskingum baseball team earned wins against the Otterbein Cardinals in OAC action on Saturday afternoon. The Muskies saw a dominant performance from graduate student Erik Cover in game one, where Cover went all nine innings for the complete game in a 5-1 win. In game two, the Muskies used a clutch eighth-inning rally to pull away from the Cardinals with a 9-5 score.

The Muskingum baseball team split against the Capital Comets in OAC action on Wednesday afternoon. The Muskies used a heroic late-game rally to win game one by a score of 6-5. Muskingum would then drop a 10 inning battle against the Comets in game two by a score of 9-8.

The Muskingum baseball team dropped a pair of games on Friday against the Ohio Northern Polar Bears. The Muskies slipped in game one by a score of 16-3 before bouncing back in game two where they battled the Polar Bears for 10 innings before falling 7-5.

Baseball dismantles Bethany to improve to 14-2 on the season

The Muskingum baseball team dismantled the Bethany Bison on Wednesday evening by a score of 10-5. The Muskies got started early with four runs in the first inning and never looked back. Freshman Coleman Harvey earned the win after going five innings in his start on the mound for the Muskies.
