Muskies fall in battle at #3 Marietta
The Muskingum men's basketball team fell at 3rd-ranked Marietta on Wednesday night, 93-77.

Sophomore Joshua Glass led a trio of Muskies in double-figures with 17 points. He also added five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Freshman Rickey Wilson added a career-high 14 points and freshman Jacob Geller had 11 points.
Junior Cody Seiler grabbed a team-best seven rebounds.
Muskingum (5-13, 2-9) ended the outing shooting .412 (28-of-68) from the floor. The Muskies also held a 40-37 edge in rebounds.
With the win, Marietta improved to 18-0 overall and 11-0 in Ohio Athletic Conference play. A.J. Edwards and A.J. Ireland led five Pioneers in double-digits with 13 points each.
The Pioneers shot .559 (38-of-68) from the field and used scoring advantages in the paint and from the bench to secure the home win.
Marietta used a big first half to seize control of the game. The Pioneers managed a 13-2 surge over a four-minute span at the 12-minute mark to take a 25-13 lead. The Momentum carried the Pioneers to a 45-29 halftime lead.
Muskingum next returns to the friendly confines of the Recreation Center to host Otterbein on Saturday, January 31. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
