Keyes' double-double paces Muskies

Keyes ended the outing shooting 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line. He also added two assists and one block.
Sophomore Josh Glass scored a team-high 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting. Junior Cody Seiler added 12 points and freshman Jacob Geller contributed five points, five rebounds and three blocks to round out the Muskie effort.
For the game, Muskingum (1-1) shot .323 (21-of-65) from the floor. The Muskies held a 43-34 edge in rebounds.
Oberlin (2-1) was paced by Jack Poyle who scored a game-high 17 points. Austin Little added 11 points and Randy Ollie narrowly missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Yeomen shot .434 (23-of-53) from the field and held a 23-10 edge in bench points.
The first half was an evenly played contest that saw Oberlin take a 27-24 lead into the break.
In the second half, the Yeomen used a 15-3 surge over a five-minute span to break open a one-point game and take a 54-41 lead with eight minutes to play. Oberlin led by as many as 18 late in the outing.
Muskingum next hosts Kenyon on Sunday, November 23. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
