Baseball slips in season opening doubleheader to Mount Union

The Muskingum baseball team fell in both games on opening day against Mount Union on Saturday afternoon. The Muskies fell in Game 1, 10-0 in seven innings, and slipped in Game 2, 8-0.

Game 1

• Mazza scored a wild pitch to get the scoring started in the first inning.
• Mazza made the score 3-0 with a two-RBI single in the fifth inning.
• Mount Union would later rally off four more runs later in the game to make it 8-0.
