Strong Season Concludes for Muskingum in OAC Tournament Semifinals
Muskingum’s postseason run came to a close Thursday night as the Muskies fell to Otterbein, 3–1 (25-23, 18–25, 16–25, 20–25), in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals inside The Rike Center.

Muskingum came out strong, taking the opening set behind steady offense and timely defense. After weathering an early Otterbein surge, the Muskies clawed back to grab momentum and close the frame, 25–23.
Otterbein settled in during the second and third sets and found success at the net, creating separation midway through each set. Muskingum continued to push, stringing together points, but Otterbein maintained its advantage.
In the fourth set, the Muskies stayed within reach and put together several small runs to close the gap. Otterbein answered each time and finished the match to advance to the OAC Championship.
The match closes out a strong season for Muskingum. The Muskies, under the leadership of OAC Coach of the Year Taylour Huey, finish the year 19-10 overall.
