The Muskingum volleyball team posted a 1-1 mark on day two of the Muskie Invitational. The Muskies beat Washington & Jefferson, 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-19) and fell against John Carroll, 3-1 (25-21, 17-25, 25-18, 25-23).
Notable
- Following the tournament, junior Mackenzie Krous and junior Katharine Clayton were named to the all-tournament team.
Muskingum opened day two of the Muskie Invitational with a strong performance against Washington & Jefferson.
- Sophomore Adelyn Rusek led the attack with 10 kills.
- Junior Mackenzie Krous and senior Emma Johnson each added nine kills.
- Junior Alexis Bradley directed the attack with 20 assists. She also added 11 digs.
- Junior MJ Rupp added 15 assists and 11 digs.
- Junior Katharine Clayton paced the backline with 23 digs.
Muskingum ended the tournament with a tough loss against John Carroll.
- Johnson led the Muskies with 11 kills.
- Krous added 10 kills and 18 digs.
- Junior Maddie Ferrell notched 10 kills.
- Bradley registered 21 assists and 18 digs.
- Rupp chipped in a 15-assist effort.
- Clayton led the defensive charge with 28 digs.
- Natalie Glowe led John Carroll with 13 kills.
- Hailey Williams added 11 spikes for the Blue Streaks.
