Volleyball Competes in the Juniata Tri-Match

The Muskingum Volleyball team competed in the Juniata Tri-Match on Saturday Afternoon. In game one, Muskingum dropped to Franklin & Marshall 3-0 (25-17-25-17-25-23)

The Basics

• Records: Muskingum (6-5 overall), Franklin & Marshall (11-2 overall)

• Sophomore Mackenzie Krous led the Muskies with eight kills and 10 digs.
• Sophomore Maddie Ferrell and junior Emma Johnson each notched six kills and a block. Ferrell added five digs, while Johnson totaled two.
• Sophomore Katharine Clayton earned 13 digs for the Muskies.
• Sophomore Alexis Bradley notched 14 assists, while sophomore Ella Jefferis totaled 11.
• Muskingum ended the match with 28 kills, 27 assists, and 42 digs.
• Avery Grantham led Franklin & Marshall with nine kills.
• Liah Perez totaled 17 assists to lead Franklin & Marshall.

Game two, the Muskies faced off against the #1 Juniata. Juniata took the win 3-0 (25-9, 25-6, 25-22)

• Niemeyer led the Muskies attack with eight kills (.438 kill Percentage).
• Bradley finished with five assists and five digs.
• Krous helps pace the Muskies with three kills and six digs.
• Senior Addison Gingrich recorded four assists and three digs.
• Clayton finished with three assists and nine digs.
• Muskingum totaled 16 kills, 15 assists, and 28 digs as a team.
• Ava Gummer led Juniata with eight kills.
• Abbey Telesz had 13 assists for Juniata.
