McGee named OAC Volleyball Player of the Week
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum senior outside hitter Maddie McGee was named the OAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her outstanding performance at John Carroll last Saturday. McGee helped guide the Muskies to a 2-0 record to start the season.
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum volleyball senior outside hitter Maddie McGee was named the OAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her outstanding performance at John Carroll last Saturday. McGee helped guide the Muskies to a 2-0 record to start the season.
In Game 1, she notched a team-high 17 kills on 31 attempts while also earning five digs in a 3-1 win. For Game 2, she tallied a team-high 18 kills on 40 attempts and grabbed seven digs during a 3-1 victory for Muskingum.
McGee guided the Muskies with 35 kills on 71 total attempts, registering a blistering .408 hitting percentage. She also tallied 12 digs and 36.5 points against the Blue Streaks.
The Muskies look to defend home court when they take on Wilmington in their season opener on Tuesday, March 16. Game 1 is set for 6:00 p.m. and Game 2 is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Anne C. Steele Center.
