Volleyball rallies past Capital

The Muskingum volleyball team rallied past Ohio Athletic Conference foe Capital 3-1 (25-27, 25-16, 25-22, 25-22) Tuesday evening at The Capital Center.

How It Happened

• After dropping set one 27-25, Muskingum rallied behind the attack of juniors Chloe Brandewie and Mackenzie O'Shea to claim the match 3-1.
• Brandewie finished the contest with 11 kills, while O'Shea posted 10 kills and two blocks.
• Senior Katie Hunt captured a team-high five blocks and one ace.
• Junior Deidre Prince dominated the back row recording 27 digs for the Muskies.
• Freshman Rhieannae Cory guided the attack with a team-high 23 assists.
• As a team, Muskingum finished with 47 kills and 10 service aces.
• Capital was led by Courtney McCracken with a game-high 12 kills and 15 digs.
• Kirsten Jutte finished with a game-high 29 assists.
