Women’s Tennis stumbles against Capital
The Muskingum women's tennis team stumbled in Ohio Athletic Conference play against Capital on Wednesday afternoon, 8-1.
 
The Crusaders took quick control of the match by sweeping first, second, and third doubles. Capital secured the win with victories in first, second, third, fourth, and sixth singles. 
 
Freshman Sara Welsh captured the lone-point for the Muskies with a 7-5, 6-1 victory against MacKenzie Archibald in fifth singles. Welsh and freshman Sarah Stockdale dropped a hard-fought 8-7, 7-4 battle in second doubles against Elizabeth Sadek and Archibald. 
 
The Muskies next travel to Alliance, Ohio to battle the University of Mount Union Purple Raiders on Wednesday, April 3. Start time is slated for 3:30 p.m.
