The Muskingum women's tennis team notched a thrilling road win at Ohio Christian on a chilly Saturday morning, 5-4.
The Muskies were led in singles play by freshman Brittany Besancon, sophomore Lindsay Brindack and junior Kristen Chandler.
Besancon won at second singles against Kat Lawless 8-2, while Brindack won at third singles against Emily Miller 8-5. Chandler grabbed an 8-5 win at fourth singles against Erinn Bailey.
Muskingum secured the victory in doubles action. The first doubles team of junior Elizabeth Knauss and Besancon beat Drayah Johnston and Lawless, 8-1. Brindack and Chandler recorded an 8-2 win at second doubles against Miller and Javon Graham.
The Muskies next play at Ohio Athletic Conference foe Heidelberg on Saturday, April 8. Game time is slated for 12:00 p.m.
