Women's Soccer announces 2020 schedule

The Muskingum women's soccer team has announced its 2020 fall schedule.

The Muskies get the campaign underway with new head coach Dani Gunderson when they take on Earlham on Tuesday, September 1, for their home opener. The game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the North Athletic Turf Field.

Muskingum starts Ohio Athletic Conference play on Saturday, October 3, at John Carroll. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Overall, the Muskies will play a total of 10 home matches and eight away contests.

Notable home games

• All home games will be played at the North Athletic Turf Field.
• The Muskies host Earlham for their season and home opener on Tuesday, September 1. The start time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
• Muskingum will host Wilmington for its first OAC home contest on Wednesday, October 7. The game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
• The Muskies host OAC regular-season champions and tournament champions Ohio Northern on Saturday, October 10. The game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
• Muskingum hosts Heidelberg for its season finale and Senior Day on Saturday, October 31.

• The Muskies hit the road for their first away match on Friday, September 4, when they take on La Roche. The contest is set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
• Muskingum travels to John Carroll for their first OAC match of the season on Saturday, October 3. The start time is set for 1:00 p.m.
• The Muskies final road game of the season will be on Saturday, October 24, at Otterbein. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.

Last Season

The Muskies recorded a historic win last year with a 3-1 victory against league foe Wilmington. The triumph marked Muskingum's first-ever win against the Quakers in program history. Muskingum also registered a four-game winning streak and finished the year scoring 22 goals and averaging 9.3 shots per game.
