Wrestling Finishes 8th at the Blue Jay Classic

Muskingum wrestling sophomore Robert Edwards Jr. and Senior Caden Kenworthy placed 2nd and 5th in their respective classes at the Blue Jay Classic.
Edwards placed 2nd in his class of 285, and Kenworthy placed 5th in his class of 184. The Muskies finished 8th out of 10 teams, scoring a total of 40.5. Elizabethtown won the event with 181.5 team points.

On the Mat
- Sophomore Robert Edwards Jr. led the Muskies with a second-place finish in his weight class of 285 at the Blue Jay Classic. Edwards went 3-1 on the day and tallied 12 team points. In his first match, he won by a pin over John Robyck of Elmira College. In match 2, Edwards won by decision over Luke Abilio of Wilkes. Edwards then won by decision over Kden Bryan of McDaniel. In the fourth match, Edwards lost by decision over Ksawery Niewadomy of Elizabethtown.
- Senior Caden Kenworthy finished 5th in his weight class of 184. He went 4-1 on the day, tallying 7 points. Kenworthy won by a decision over Soren Wynn of McDaniel. He then lost by decision to Souleymane Diarra of Wilkes. He bounced back with 3 straight wins over Rhijan Monfort of Elmira College, Quinten Laughlin of Scranton, and Jared Bilinski of Wilkes.
