Kenworthy leads wrestling at Washington & Jefferson Invitational

The Muskingum Wrestling team competed in play at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational. The team placed 20th out of 51 teams. Senior Caden Kenworthy placed 6th in his weight class of 184.

• The Muskies scored 36.5 points as a team, placing them 20th out of 51 teams. 

Inside the Numbers

• Senior Caden Kenworthy led the Muskies with a 6th-place finish in his weight class of 184, going 2-3 on the day. He logged an 8-0 major decision and 5-2 decision to secure his wins.
• Sophomore Joseph Slatzer went 2-2 on the day in the 133-pound class. He secured a 9-4 decision and a 16-6 major decision.
• Sophomore Robert Edwards Jr. won his first two matches of the day in the 285-pound class and ended up finishing 2-2. 
• Gavin Greer went 2-2 on the day, competing in the 165-pound class, winning both bouts by pin.
