The Muskingum women's bowling team delivered a strong performance at the Unicorn Classic hosted at Wild Life Lanes, securing a second-place finish in a tightly contested field.
The tournament featured five head-to-head matches and 25 total Baker games. The championship came down to the final game of the day, with Lewis University edging the Muskies by just 20 pins to claim the title.
While no individual awards were presented, Muskingum saw standout efforts throughout the event. Bridget Cake continued her impressive weekend on the lanes, while Isabelle Genet capitalized on her opportunities and made key contributions as the Muskies surged into first place heading into the position round.
After four matches and 20 games, only 14 pins separated the top three teams. The final standings saw Lewis University take first, Muskingum finish second, and St. Vincent place third.
Muskies return to competition next Saturday, Nov 15th, in their 2nd Ohio Bowling Conference tournament.
