Four Women's Basketball Players named to CSC Academic All-District
Four Muskingum Women's Basketball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for their tremendous work in the classroom. Senior Tori Jones, junior McKinzi Linscott, and sophomores Julia Jaenke and McKenna Baney all received this honor.
Jones, a Exercise Science and Health and Fitness Major, with a nutrition minor, played all 25 games and started 24 of them. Jones averaged 11.3 points per game to lead the Muskies, shooting 40.8% from the field and 34.2% from three-point range. Over the season Jones recorded 282 points, 59 rebounds, 38 assists, 24 steals and 8 blocks.
Linscott, a Nursing major played in all 25 games, and started 24 of them. Linscott averaged 10.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds a game on 44.8% shooting from the field and 34.9% from three-point range. Linscott totaled 262 points, 175 rebounds, 35 assists, 28 steals, and 41 blocks on the season.
Baney, a Biology and Animal Studies major, played all 25 games, with 24 starts. Baney averaged 9.4 points per game on 43.2$ shooting from the field. On the season, Baney registerted 235 points, 87 rebounds, 31 assists, and 22 steals.
Jaenke, a Nursing major, played all 25 games for the Muskies. Jaenke was the spark off the bench with 7.7 points per game on 37.6% shooting from the field. Jaenke recorded 193 points, 44 rebounds, 34 assists, and 17 steals across the season.
