3 Muskies Earn All-OAC Honors for Women's Basketball
The Ohio Athletic Conference announced its annual All-OAC Women’s Basketball honors this week, and the Muskingum University women’s basketball team was well represented. Three Muskies earned postseason recognition for their standout performances during the 2025-26 season.
Junior McKinzi Linscott was named All-OAC Second Team after putting together one of the most complete seasons in the conference.
Linscott proved to be one of the league's most versatile players, making her impact felt on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she emerged as a force in the paint and on the perimeter, finishing second in the OAC in blocks while ranking in the top 10 across multiple major statistical categories.
Offensively, Linscott showcased a well-rounded scoring ability, consistently producing both inside and out. Whether finishing through contact in the post or stepping out to knock down perimeter shots, she provided a steady scoring presence for the Muskies all season long.
Senior Claudia Harrington earned All-OAC Honorable Mention recognition, adding another accolade to an already decorated career.
A four-year starter for the Muskies, Harrington cemented her legacy this season by surpassing the 1,000-point milestone, becoming one of the program's most consistent and dependable performers. She averaged 10.4 points per game this season while continuing to serve as the team's primary facilitator.
Harrington finished among the top five in the OAC in assists per game, highlighting her ability to create opportunities for teammates. Her leadership, experience, and steady play were instrumental to Muskingum's success throughout the year.
Senior Tori Jones was named All-OAC Honorable Mention following an impressive final campaign in a Muskie uniform.
Jones led Muskingum in scoring and ranked among the top 10 scorers in the OAC. She established herself as one of the conference's most dynamic offensive threats. A true three-level scorer, she demonstrated the ability to finish at the rim, create in the mid-range, and stretch defenses from beyond the arc.
Jones also emerged as one of the top three-point shooters in the conference this season, providing a consistent perimeter threat that opposing teams had to account for every night.
