Thomas earns OAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Muskingum sophomore pitcher Madelyn Thomas earned OAC Softball Pitcher of the Week after her outstanding showing at The Spring Games in Clermont, Florida last week.

Thomas posted a 3-0 record form the circle after seeing action in 19.1 innings of work, allowing a combined three runs on 13 hits, and notching a total of 21 total strikeouts over the week. She finished the week with an astounding 1.09 ERA.

Muskingum next plays on Wednesday, March 16, when they host Ohio Wesleyan for its home opener at Donna J. Newberry Field. The start time is slated for 3:30 p.m. and will feature live video and live stats on fightingmuskies.com and the OAC TV app.
