The Muskingum men's tennis team fell to the Norwich University Cadets on Wednesday, 6-3.
Muskingum sophomore Armando DiMichaelangelo and senior Caleb Patton secured an 8-4 victory at first doubles to give Muskingum the lead early on. Norwich answered with back-to-back shutout wins in second and third doubles.
In singles play, DiMichaelangelo claimed a 6-1, 6-3 win at first singles against Dylan Ackerman, and Patton beat Sam Beiter at third singles 6-2, 6-1. However, the Cadets clinched the match with wins at second, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles.
Muskingum returns to action on Saturday, March 16 to battle the Grove City Wolverines at the Scarborough East Tennis Club in Columbus, Ohio. Start time is slated for 2:00 p.m.
