The Muskingum men's lacrosse team cruised past Wilmington on Wednesday evening. The Muskies defeated the Quakers 17-6 at the BHWC.

How it Happened
- Muskingum started out of the gates hot, outscoring Wilmington 5-2 in the opening quarter to claim the early lead.
- Muskingum poured in on in the second period, tallying four goals and keeping Wilmington scoreless in the frame to take a 9-2 lead into halftime.
- In the third period Muskingum continued their hot play, outscoring the Quakers 4-2 to extend their lead to 13-4.
- Both teams scored three goals apiece in the final quarter as Muskingum cruised to the 16-7 win.
Inside the Numbers
- Muskingum was led by junior Grant Webster who tallied four goals and grabbed two ground balls.
- Junior Spencer Zecchini filled up the stat sheet with three goals, four assists, six ground balls, and two caused turnovers; while freshman Chipper Iacobucci registered two goals and one assist.
- Senior Maxwell Pezzot notched one goal and four assists, while sophomore Drew Davis added one goal and two ground balls.
- Senior Griffin Holiga, senior Michael Honeycutt, freshman Josh Nowak, and freshman Jack Peyton all tallied one goal each for Muskingum as well.
- Sophomore Drew Schneider grabbed a game-high 14 ground balls for Muskingum, while junior Trevor Connolly tallied four saves in goal.
- Wilmington was led by Jacob Snyder with two goals and one assist.
