Connolly named OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Muskingum men's lacrosse freshman goalie Trevor Connolly has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his outstanding play on Saturday vs. Ohio Northern.

Connolly played all 60 minutes for Muskingum in frame and recorded a career-best 24 saves in a 16-3 loss to Ohio Northern. He faced 42 shots during the contest and notched a .619 save percentage.

On the season, Connolly has started in goal for every game and played every minute for the Muskies. He has registered 48 total saves and a save percentage of .558 in his freshman campaign so far.

The Muskies next play at Otterbein on Wednesday, March 17. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
