In the latest United States Bowling Congress power rankings of the season, the Muskingum men's bowling team earned the No. 20 spot, continuing to establish itself as one of the top programs in the nation.
The Muskies have been dominant throughout the season, finishing 1st in both Ohio Bowling Conference events. It wasn't just the conference tournaments where they thrived, as they also finished in 2nd place at the Muskie Mash.
Most recently, the Muskie men traveled to Addison, Illinois, for the Kegel ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic. The field featured 68 of the top men's teams from across the nation. After a tough start, a big bounce back happened in game 2 as the team posted a 1080 game in what was a complete team effort. Games 3 through 5 were enough to keep the Muskies in the top half of the field. At the end of the day the men jumped 11 places finishing 21st overall.
Muskingum will look to build on its strong start as the season continues with upcoming competition later this month.
