John Carroll used a big second half to streak past the Muskies on Friday evening, 103-88.

- Freshman Trey Singleton led the Muskies' offense with a career-high 23 points, shooting 9-for-14 (64.3%) from the field.
- Senior Devon Peart tallied 20 points and hauled in four rebounds.
- Senior Jalen Paige cashed in 10 points and dished out six assists.
- Sophomore Mitch Clark added nine points and pulled down eight rebounds.
- As a team, the Muskies went 32-for-69 (46.4%) from the field and 11-for-34 from the arc (32.4%).
- The sibling duo of Ryan and Jimmy Berger guided John Carroll in scoring. Ryan put up 31 points while Jimmy notched 25 points.
- John Carroll made 51.3% of their shots (40-for-78), went 9-for-27 from the arc (33.3%), and ended the contest shooting 14-for-18 from the free-throw line (77.8%).
- John Carroll jumped out to an early 10-point lead (12-2) after Luke Hippler connected on a basket with 15:38 on the clock. Paige answered for the Muskies when he sank a bucket, igniting a 13-4 burst to make it 16-15 at the 10:47 juncture. Over the next six minutes, Muskingum narrowly outscored the Blue Streaks (13-12), tying the game at 28 with 4:32 left in the half. The Muskies were able to gain a one-point lead in the final minutes of the half, entering the break with a 39-38 advantage.

In the opening minutes of the second half, the teams were neck-and-neck, both scoring five points to make it 45-44 with 17:50 left to play. Then, the Blue Streaks used a 10-2 spurt to gain a seven-point edge (54-47) at the 15:39 mark. Muskingum retaliated with a 7-2 span thanks to a triple from Singleton at the 12:40 mark, making it 56-54. The Muskies went on to outscore John Carroll (12-11), cutting the Blue Streaks' lead to one-point (67-66) with 7:53 remaining. John Carroll used a late 20-4 streak to jump ahead of the Muskies (87-70). The Blue Streaks rode their momentum into the conclusion of the game, securing a 103-88 victory.
