Heidelberg erupted for 64 points in the second half to sink the Muskingum men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon in Tiffin, 94-67.
Sophomore Joshua Glass led the Muskies with a career-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He also added nine rebounds.
Senior Logan Kimble had 17 points and six rebounds and sophomore Joshua Keyes contributed 13 points.
Muskingum (2-5, 0-2) ended the game shooting a season-best .568 (25-of-44), but the Muskies were haunted by a season-high 31 turnovers.
Heidelberg (3-2, 1-1) had five players score in double figures. Kiere Bennie led the 'Berg with a game-high 23 points with five rebounds. Marquice Taylor added 18 points.
The Student Princes shot .471 (32-of-68) from the field and held a 33-6 advantage in points off of turnovers.
The opening half was an evenly played contest with the Muskies taking a 31-30 edge into the break.
In the second half, Heidelberg erupted for 64 points to pull away from the Muskies to claim the home win.
