Grant named D3football.com All-Region

Muskingum sophomore receiver Davion Grant was honored for his tremendous play this season by being named to the 2024 D3football.com All-Region 4 team.

Grant, A First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, was named to the Third Team Offense All-Region 4 team as a wide receiver. Grant set the single-season school record for Muskingum in receptions and receiving yards. He tallied 71 receptions and 1,123 receiving yards to lead the Muskies in both categories. He added eight receiving touchdowns to his season totals. Grant also logged 203 kick return yards on 12 returns. Grant led the Ohio Athletic Conference in receiving yards, finished second in receptions, and tied for third in receiving touchdowns.

The All-Region teams, selected in balloting by Region 4 sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 164 nominations by full Division III member schools. A total of 78 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
