Esports Recap (1/18 - 1/30)

The Muskingum esports program is back in action for their spring season. The Muskies are off to a hot start with a 7-3 record in various games. Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Madden, and College Football all have added at least one win in the new season for the Muskies.

Saturday, January 18

• The Muskingum Rocket League team set the new season down the right path with a 4-1 dominating win over Albion. The Muskies improve to 1-0 on the year with this win in GLEC play.

Wednesday, January 22

• The Muskingum Overwatch team slipped in a GLEC matchup against Saint Xavier by a score of 3-0.

Monday, January 27

• The Muskingum Rainbow Six Siege team dominated in an ECAC matchup against Freed-Hardeman by a score of 2-0

Tuesday, January 28

• The Muskingum Valorant team's competed against their respective opponents on Tuesday night, but fell short in their games. The ECAC varsity team slipped by a score of 2-1 to Utica, while the ECAC Madam Muskies team fell 2-0 against Russell Sage.

Wednesday, January 29

• The Muskingum Rocket League team highlighted the night with a 4-0 win over Olivet in GLEC play. The Muskies move to 2-0 on the year with this dominating win.
• The Muskingum Rocket League team showed out with a 4-2 win over Alice Lloyd (KY) in ECAC play. The Muskies improve to 1-0 on the season in the ECAC.
• The Muskingum College Football team competed in their first contest here at Muskingum. The Muskies had two players in Sayre and Webster whom each recorded 2-0 wins on their opening nights.
• The Muskingum College Football players of Wolford and Lawrence got their seasons started with a competition between themselves. The Muskie vs. Muskie showdown was swiftly won by Lawrence who came away with a 2-0 victory.

Thursday, January 30

• The Muskingum Madden players of Wolford and Lawrence faced off against one another in an action packed contest. Wolford came away with the 2-0 victory in the Madden matchup.
