Bio
Sonny Peluchette joined the Muskingum Baseball program as an assistant coach in the summer of 2026.
Peluchette will be responsible for the Muskie infielders, assisting with hitters, assisting with recruiting, and assisting with the Muskie baserunning system.
Before arriving to New Concord, Peluchette was a 3-year letterwinner and captain his senior season at Bethany College in West Virginia. Peluchette started his career at the DII level at Wheeling University before transferring to Bethany.
At Bethany, Peluchette had a standout career as an infielder and a pitcher. He was a career .305 hitter, with 83 hits, 43 BB’s to only 32 K’s, and stole 35 bases. On the mound, Peluchette had a career ERA of 4.72 with 33 appearances, 120 innings pitched and 95 K’s. He was a Second Team All-PAC Utility selection in 2025 and earned Team Most Valuable Player honors at the 2026 Bison Awards.
Peluchette earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Bethany College in 2026 and will be pursuing his MBA through Muskingum.
