The Muskingum Baseball team took on Greensboro during their spring break trip and fell to the Pride, 9-6.

How It Happened
The Muskies got out to a great start, leading 4-0 heading into the bottom of the 7th inning. Greensboro got the bats going and evened the score 4-4 heading into the 8th inning. The Muskies scored 2 runs in the top of the 8th inning, but Greensboro scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to give them the 9-6 lead, and it stayed this way for the final inning. With the tying run at the plate in the top of the ninth, the Muskies' comeback bid ended on a flyout to right field.

- Junior Grant Mellerson and sophomore Lex Castaneda each recorded 2 hits on the afternoon.
- Seniors Mike Davis, Jackson Duchesne, and Sam Palmieri, along with Mellerson, each tallied an RBI.
- Sophomore Ethan Bush had 2 runs for the Muskies.
- Freshman Zander Roades started on the mound for Muskingum and pitched 4 scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts and only allowed 3 hits.
- Junior Micah Morrison pitched an inning in relief and had 2 strikeouts, allowed 4 runs, allowed 4 earned runs, and 7 hits.
