Muskingum dropped both games of a road doubleheader at Mary Washington on Saturday at Dickinson Stadium.
Game 1 – Mary Washington 4, Muskingum 1
Mary Washington used a two-run third inning to build an early lead and held Muskingum to just one hit in a 4-1 decision in the opener. The Muskies plated their lone run in the eighth inning when a groundout by sophomore Ethan Bush brought home senior Joey Eurez.
Muskingum Highlights
- Sophomore Jake Valentine – Started on the mound and had six strong innings, 7 strikeouts, and allowed just one earned run.
- Senior Sam Palmieri – Recorded Muskingum's lone hit of the game.
- Sophomore Ethan Bush – Drove in the Muskies' only run with an RBI groundout in the eighth.
- Senior Joey Eurez – Scored the Muskingum run after entering as a pinch runner.
Game 2 – Mary Washington 6, Muskingum 1
Mary Washington jumped out with three runs in the first inning and added insurance later to secure a 6-1 win in the nightcap. Muskingum pushed across a run in the eighth inning after freshman Chase Cox scored on a fielder's choice.

- Sophomore Lex Castaneda – Added one hit and handled 13 chances at first base.
