Baseball Rolls to Doubleheader Sweep

Muskingum went 2-0 on the day with a 13-3 win in Game 1 and a 16-5 victory in Game 2 against Berea.

Muskingum exploded for a 13-3 victory over Berea in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader at Berea College Baseball Field. The Muskies jumped out to a big lead early, plating four runs in the second inning and adding two more in the third to build a commanding advantage. They tacked on three in the fourth and four in the sixth to secure the run-rule win, while Berea managed only a run in the second and two in the fourth.

The Muskies erupted for four runs in the first inning and kept the pressure on with two in the second, one in the third, three in the fifth, two in the sixth, two in the seventh, and two in the eighth. Berea scored two in the fourth and three in the seventh but couldn't keep pace with Muskingum's offense.
