Nolan Fernandes named OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named freshman pitcher Nolan Fernandes the OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Fernandes delivered an unbelievable performance in Muskingum's 2-1 comeback game two victory over Capital last week. He helped the Muskies sweep the Crusaders as he tossed a spectacular complete-game one-hitter that went 10 innings. He allowed one run and notched six strikeouts. This season, he has seen action in 42.1 innings and has tallied 35 strikeouts, which is tied for 12th best in the conference.

Muskingum returns to action on Wednesday, April 18 as they play at Ohio Athletic Conference rival, Marietta. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
