Aimee Cline is entering her first year as Head Athletic Trainer at Muskingum University.
Prior to coming to Muskingum, Cline served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League and for the National Basketball Association Officials at Quicken Loans Arena. In these roles, Cline was responsible for prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of injuries, as well as emergency care.
Through her job at the NovaCare Rehabilitation Center, she worked as an Athletic Trainer at Benedictine High School and as a patient service specialist. While at Benedictine, she was in charge of the medical coverage of all sports and for developing a clinical schedule. As a patient service specialist, she developed her skills in patient care, customer service, and insurance verification.
Early in her career as an Athletic Trainer, Cline was employed as the Head Athletic Trainer at Wellston High School. In this role, Cline facilitated the medical coverage of all sports, the collection of medical paperwork from the student-athletes, and the budgeting of medical supplies. Cline also earned the opportunity to serve as an Athletic Trainer for the Sports International Football Camp who was paired with the New York Jets and New York Giants, where she was in charge of the medical care of the participants.
Cline earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Marietta College and a Master’s of Science in Athletic Training at Ohio University. Cline is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and is licensed to practice Athletic Training in the State of Ohio.
