The current record holders are Jessica McKenzie and Julie Hoag who both attempted 14 free throws at John Carroll (2006-07) and Heidelberg (1988-89), respectively, while Jessica Gates made 12 free throws against Marietta (2001-02).
Besancon ended her college career with 1,158 points, which ranks her 13th overall in scoring in Muskingum history, 351 rebounds, 181 three-pointers, 155 assists, and 89 steals.
This season, she posted a season/career-high 36 points and nine rebounds in Muskingum's thrilling triple-overtime win against John Carroll on December 2, 2017.
