Mount Union used a 24-12 third-quarter surge to sink Muskingum on Wednesday night in Alliance, 81-72.

  • Sophomore Dana Parkman scored 11 points for the Muskies.
  • Muskingum ended the contest 25-for-61 (.410) from the field, including seven three-pointers.
  • Mount Union was led by Abbey Bartoszewicz with a game-high 24 points.
  • The Purple Raiders edged Muskingum in rebounds by a 41-33 margin.

Game Notes

  • Muskingum entered the break leading 39-34 after outscoring the Purple Raiders 25-15 in the opening period.
  • Mount Union erased the halftime deficit outscoring the Muskies 24-12 in the third frame to claim the 58-51 advantage.
  • The Purple Raiders used efficient free-throw shooting in the final minute to secure the win.
